Hockey Brawl Unblocked: Play Free Online

Hockey Brawl is a top-down hockey game with floppy bobblehead players and a lot of bumping. You can play Hockey Brawl unblocked in your browser, with no download and no install. Play Hockey Brawl online free alone against the computer, or share one keyboard with a friend.

How to play Hockey Brawl

You steer a bobblehead hockey player around a rink seen from above. The aim is simple: push the puck into the other team’s goal. Collisions, stick hits and puck movement all come from physics, not scripted animations, so every bump plays out a little differently.

Each round adds a modifier that changes the rules mid-match. Examples include slippery ice, heavy or bouncy pucks, speed boosts and oversized sticks. A modifier can turn a safe lead into a scramble, so stay ready for surprises.

There are two ways to play. Local two-player mode puts two people on one device with split controls. Career mode has three leagues with AI opponents. Wins earn gold coins, which you spend in the locker room on cosmetic skins for heads, bodies, helmets, sticks and arena backdrops.

The player stands on the far side of the puck from the net, so a run-up sends it toward the goal.

Tips to get better

  • Get behind the puck. To send it toward the goal, you need to be on the other side of it from the net.
  • Use your momentum. Hits come from physics, so a run-up gives a harder strike than a slow push.
  • Don’t chase blindly. If your opponent has the puck, cut off the line to your goal first, then challenge.
  • Read the modifier. On slippery ice, brake early. With a bouncy puck, expect it off the walls.
  • Defend with your body. Your player can block the goal mouth. Sitting there for a second can save a match.
  • Use the walls. The puck rebounds, so angles open up that a direct shot can’t reach.
  • Spend coins on style. Skins are cosmetic, so they won’t change how you play, but they make the locker room fun.

Playing with a friend

Two players on one keyboard is the main event. Player 1 takes WASD on the left side, Player 2 takes the arrow keys on the right. Sit close and keep your elbows to yourself.

Because the bobbleheads wobble and the physics are loose, matches get funny quickly. Agree on a score to play to, and play a rematch when the modifiers swing the game.

If you’re solo, career mode is the better fit. The three leagues give you a ladder to climb, and the coins give each win a use. Start there to learn how the puck behaves before you take on a friend.

Aizi's tip when the round gets a new modifier, spend the first second watching the puck. Knowing how it bounces is half the match.

Why the physics matter

Because collisions come from physics, not scripted animations, no two goals look quite alike. A bump from the side sends your bobblehead spinning, a stick hit sends the puck a different way each time, and a modifier like oversized sticks makes everything bigger and sillier.

That also means you can’t memorize a perfect move. Instead, learn the feel: how far you slide after you let go, how hard the puck bounces off the boards, and how much a hit moves your own player. A few minutes of practice in career mode teaches this better than any tip.

The look is clean and 3D, with icy light-blue and orange colors, so it’s easy to tell the puck, the players and the goals apart even when the rink gets crowded.
